Places to visit
From Arbour House there is easy access to the coastal footpaths which are part of the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline. If you enjoy cycling there are many circular routes both on and off road.
Within Swanage itself we have the Beach Gardens tennis courts, putting green and the bowls green.
Just five minutes walk away you have the pitch and putt course.
Durlston Country Park overlooks Swanage. The coastal path goes through the country park and passes the Globe. If you are lucky while walking the coastal path past Durlston you make be able to see the dolphins off the point.
The main beaches are Swanage and Studland. There are many more secluded bays around the coast for you to explore.
If you enjoy visiting houses and gardens we have Kingston Lacy, Athelhampton House, Staplehill Abbey and many more.
The historic village of Corfe Castle is just 4 miles drive away. Alternatively leave your car and travel by the Swanage Steam train to Corfe Castle and walk back along Nine Barrow Down to Swanage.
Other places of interest include Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Clouds Hill - Laurence of Arabias cottage, Brownsea Island, Compton Acres to name but a few.
